I saw an infographic as it relates to asteroid mining and how it is a trillion dollar industry. This is a a GENIUS idea.

There actually a few famous names that have contributed to asteroid mining, including Google Exec and Founders Larry Page and Eric Schmidt. Here is the link to the Wikipedia page

I find this truly fascinating and how we can save Earth’s resources.

My question to this would be is if we use these asteroid resources on Earth, what are the consequences? To visualize this, we currently have a limited amount of resources in a “balloon.” As we introduce new resources into the “balloon,” would the “balloon” “pop?”
