I received Disney U while I was in the Hawaii Region. It was part of the People Summit. The People Summit was a motivational conference to re-focus our attention to our customers.
By focusing on an organization’s employees, it translates into better customer service.
My favorite line from the book is “What you do off-stage reflects on-stage.” With that, the organization treated employees like customers and in turn the employees learned how to treat their customers. It is a perpetual creation of the best customer experience.
